Font-o-rama! is a font dialog box. Itﾕs a drop-in replacement for the font dialog box or font menus in all the applications you use. With Font-o-rama! you can see all the fonts on your system at once!
Itﾕs better than other font dialog boxes, because itﾕs carefully designed to be very quick and easy to use. Itﾕs better than font menus for the same reason. If you like using the keyboard, you can quickly select and set fonts using only the keyboard. If you like the mouse, you can set any font, size, or style with a single click.
How do I install it?
Copy the ﾒFont-o-rama!ﾓ folder to your hard-drive.
Copy the file, ﾒFont-o-rama! Extensionﾓ to the Extensions folder in your System Folder.
Restart your computer.
How do I use it?
To use Font-o-rama! in your application, just hit the hot-key combination: control-command-f.
Then, make your font choices in the Font-o-rama! window.
Finally, hit the return key. Font-o-rama! makes the font change in whatever application youﾕre using.
(Note: your application must be Apple Event-savvy. Font-o-rama! is known to work with Aldus PageMaker 5.0 and 6.0, the scriptable Finder, Microsoft Word 6.0, Scriptable Text Editor, BBEdit 3.5, Microsoft Excel 5, and Quark Express 3.3. It probably works with your application, too. If youﾕre not sure, ask us.)
What does it cost?
Only US$10.
If you buy 25 or more copies, itﾕs only US$9 each.
If you buy 50 or more copies, itﾕs only US$8 each.
If you buy a site license, you can own an unlimited number of copies at a particular location for a mere US$700.

There is more help under the help menu (the question mark at the far right of the menu bar). This requires that the AppleGuide Extension be installed. If you donﾕt have that extension, then contact us, and weﾕll send you a copy.
What about versions in other languages?
If youﾕre interested in seeing a version of Font-o-rama! in another language, please contact us. We may already have the language youﾕre interested in.
How does it work? (Technical information.)
Font-o-rama! looks in the Scripts folder for a script with the same name as the application. If it doesnﾕt find one, it looks for a script whose name is the same as the applicationﾕs creator. If it doesnﾕt find one, it finally uses the Generic script.
Once itﾕs found the script to use, it loads it and executes the set_font() subroutine.
Why should I help The Henry Starr Co.?
The Henry Starr Co. has limited access to Apple Event-savvy applications. We need scripters to write scripts that support their favorite applications. Write a script that extends Font-o-rama! to support the applications you use. Then send it to us so we can include it in future releases of Font-o-rama!
When you do, make sure that you fill in the description of the script in the Script Editor. That description will be displayed in the About Scripts dialog box. You can advertise anything you want.
If you choose to help extend Font-o-rama!, you will be realizing the full-potential of Apple Events and AppleScript, and helping to improve the Macintosh for everybody.
